This journey takes you deep into the heart of northern Vietnam’s highlands, where rolling rice terraces, misty mountains, and colorful hill tribe villages create an unforgettable landscape. With moderate trekking, diverse landscapes, and meaningful cultural encounters, it offers the perfect balance of exploration, connection, and relaxation in one of Vietnam’s most scenic destinations.
Day 1 : Ha Noi – Sapa – Su Pan – Giang Ta Chai
Meals: lunch, dinner/ Accommodation: homestay in the village
06.30 AM – 07.00 AM : The limousine bus pick up you at your hotel in old quarter and depart for Sapa via Lao Cai – Sapa highway with 2 stops on the way.
Arrival homestay in Sa Pa at 01.00 pm. You meet your local guide have quick lunch and briefing.
Start your trek from Giang Ta Chai to Hau Thao, continue to Su Pan village, a quiet hilltop area with panoramic views of valleys, rivers, mountain ranges, terraced rice paddies.
Trek downhill to Ban Den Village, inhabited by the Tay people
After 3,5 hours trekking, you reach to traditional homestay where surrounded by terraced fields and mountains.
Dinner with your host family – enjoy authentic local food and cultural exchange
Day 2 : Giang Ta Chai – Ta Van – Lao Chai – Y Linh Ho – Sapa
Meals:breakfast, lunch/ Accommodation:3-star hotel in Sapa.
Wake up to breath fresh air among mountain. You have breakfast and say goodbye homestay.
From Giang Ta Chai village, home of red Dao people. You go down and cross suspension bridge, enjoy waterfalls and panoramic views.
Trek up on small trails through lush bamboo forests. Continue hiking to Ta Van Village, where the Day people live. It offer stunning view of lush forests, valleys, rivers, traditional villages, terraced rice paddies.
Descending into the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley to Lao Chai village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic group, known for their traditional indigo-dyed clothing and terraced rice fields.
Have lunch in local restaurnat
Keep going to Y Linh Ho village and go to Sapa town.
Check in hotel and overnight in Sapa town
Day 3 : Sapa – Sa Seng – Hang Da – Ha Noi
Meals:breakfast, lunch/ Accommodation:not included.
Have breakfast in hotel and check out.
You leave your belongings in storage then follow tour guide for another trekking route from Sapa to Sa Seng viallage and Hang Da village. We trek up hill through narrow trails less tourists, sometimes rocky paths, passing small hamlet of black H’mong people to Sa Seng with the views surrounding. Keep trekking up to Hang Da villages get expansive of Muong Hoa valley, especially on clear days. The trek offer beautiful views of valley drops, mist often, rice terraces, cornfileds, forest patches, mountains, streams.
Have lunch in local restaurant and take car bus back to hotel in Sa pa for shower
Take limousine bus to go back Ha Noi.
Drop off you in hotel. Tour end.
Note : Rice season from June to early September, stunning views are all year. If you want to go to Ha Giang instead of Ha Noi, please tell us. Sleeping in honestay on the 2nd floor in big space with private mattress, pillow, mosquito, blanket. Bathroom is international standard, few steps outside. In case of you have big luggages, we will carry from the bus to homestay and from homestay to the bus when you do trekking.
