Day 1: Ha Noi – Mai Chau

Meals: Lunch, Dinner/ Accommodation: Private room in homestay

07.30 AM: Your private car and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi. Depart for Mai Chau via Highway 6 (approximately 140 km), passing rice fields, sugarcane, cassava, and orange plantations. Stop at Thung Khe Pass to admire the scenery, take photos, and meet local Muong people.

• Enjoy a panoramic view of Mai Chau Valley from the Mai Chau flag viewpoint.

• Upon arrival in Mai Chau, enjoy a 1.5-hour walk through peaceful villages with green rice fields and traditional stilt houses. Observe local people weaving clothes and scarves.

• Drive 10 km to Mai Hich Village, a quiet and less-touristy area known as the “backyard” of Mai Chau. Check in at the homestay and enjoy lunch.

• In the afternoon, walk or cycle through nearby villages (Ban Hich – Ban Den – Ban Ngoa – Sam Khoe – Ban Buoc), enjoying views of limestone mountains, rivers, rice fields, and suspension bridges. Observe the daily life of Thai people living in stilt houses — farming, fishing, and caring for buffaloes.

• Return to the traditional stilt house of your friendly Thai host for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Van Ho – Ha Noi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch/ Accommodation: Not included

• Wake up to fresh mountain air surrounded by rice fields and villages.

• Breakfast and farewell to your homestay hosts.

• Drive approximately 40 km to Van Ho along the old National Road 6, passing pristine forests and ethnic villages.

• Visit Tat Nang Waterfall, a breathtaking natural highlight often called the “Fairy Waterfall.”

• Enjoy swimming and soaking in Bo Am hot mineral springs, a natural spring emerging from mountain crevices amid bamboo forests and rice paddies, with water temperatures ranging from 30°C to 40°C.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Drive back to Ha Noi and drop-off at your hotel around 5:00 PM. Tour ends.
