- Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, the botanical garden and the Presidential palace, stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda to learn about Uncle Ho’life and Viet Nam independence history.
- Visit Temple of Literature – was the first University in Viet Nam, founded in 1070. It is beautiful ancient site, powerful symbol of vietnamese to respect education and Confucian values.
- Continue to visit Ethnology Museum where you can see 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam. This museum offer informative and well – documented display about 54 ethnic groups (their typical history, custom, culture, clothes and working tools). Outside display are traditional houses of diffirent ethnic groups.
- Have lunch at authentic vietnamese restaurant.
- Walking to visit Dong Xuan market ( Hanoi’s largest indoor market, offering a wide range of goods) and Long Bien Brige (It is not only historical bridge in VN but alsoone of the most stunning bridges in the world when it opened in 1902)
- Visit Hoa lo prision – Ha noi Hilton was buit by French. It is the most historically significant site in Ha Noi. It offers deep insight into Vietnam’colonial struggles.
- Visit Hoan Kiem lake – the heart of Ha Noi
- 1 hours cyclo trip around old quarter and french quarter to see daily life of local people and famous sites in Ha Noi
- Visit Saint Joseph Cathedral (This is a Roman Catholic cathedral with neo- gothic which was built in 1886) and french quarter in Ha Noi
- Watch water puppet show to learn more daily life of Vietnamese farmers (cultivating, tending buffalo, catching fishes…), communal entertainment (swimming contest, dragon dancing…), or historical legends
Please note:
- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open 5 mornings a week and 10 months a year. It is closed every afternoon, all day Monday and Friday, and from early October to early December for scheduled maintenance. So, we see in outside of mausoleum but still visit other sections in Ho Chi Minh complex.
Most museums are closed on Mondays. If your visit coincides with closing days, Tran Quoc pagoda will be replaced or alternatives will be suggested
- Please dress modestly for the temple visits. Non-sleeve shirts and short trousers are not allowed inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
