Located about 120 kilometres south of Hanoi, Cuc Phuong National Park is the first national park in Viet Nam and the country’s largest nature reserve. It is one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in Viet Nam, home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.

Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve is one of the largest wetlands in the Red River Delta, known as a peaceful eco-paradise with calm waters, limestone karsts, and rare wildlife.

07:00 AM: Private car and English-speaking tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Cuc Phuong National Park (120 km, approximately 2.5 hours).

• Upon arrival, continue to Bong Sub-center and begin a 4 km medium trek through ancient primary forest. Walk under the shade of thousand-year-old trees, observe rare plants, listen to birdsong, and enjoy wildlife watching. Continue along the trail to visit a thousand-year-old tree, one of the park’s natural highlights.

• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

• Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and Turtle Conservation Center, where you can see some of the world’s rarest apes, monkeys, and turtles, and learn about conservation efforts to protect endangered species.

• Drive 25 km to Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve.

• Take a 1.5-hour bamboo boat trip, gliding through tranquil waterways and towering limestone mountains with unique formations. This peaceful journey offers chances to spot wildlife such as herons, storks, kingfishers, bitterns, and especially the rare Delacour’s langur, often seen resting on limestone cliffs or leaping between trees.

• Drive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel. Tour ends.
