Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay have been recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. Cat Ba is the largest island in Ha Long Bay. Adjacent to Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is home to more than 400 limestone islands and 139 pristine white-sand beaches nestled at the foot of lush, forested mountains. Considered one of the most beautiful bays in Viet Nam, Lan Ha Bay remains unspoiled and far less crowded than Ha Long Bay.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Lan Ha Bay cruise

07:00 AM: Your English-speaking tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi. Drive approximately 160 km via the 5B Expressway to Got Ferry Terminal.
– Take the ferry to Cat Ba Island, then enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive along a mountainside road surrounded by lush green forest to Beo Pier.
– Board a day boat and cruise through Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village, where you can observe the daily life of local fishermen living on floating houses. Continue cruising deeper into the stunning Lan Ha Bay, admiring hundreds of limestone cliffs in various shapes and sizes.
– Kayaking (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes): Paddle through calm waters, narrow passages, low cave arches, and secluded lagoons accessible only by kayak.
– Swimming: Enjoy swimming in the emerald waters by jumping off the boat or directly from your kayak.
– Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board.
– Cycling to Viet Hai Village through tropical rainforest, offering spectacular views of limestone mountains, dense jungle, and peaceful green fields.
– Return to Beo Pier via an alternative scenic route.

Day 2 : Cat Ba National Park – Phu Long – Ha Noi

– Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
– Trekking (approximately 2.5 hours) in Cat Ba National Park through tropical rainforest and Kim Giao forest to Ngu Lam Peak, where you will enjoy a panoramic 360-degree view of the island.
– Visit Trung Trang Cave, famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
– Explore Phu Long Mangrove Forest by motorboat, cruising through quiet mangrove creeks and lagoons while observing local flora and fauna.
– Lunch at a local restaurant.
– Drive back to Ha Noi via the same route.
