Ba Be lake is largest fresh water lake in Viet Nam and a hidden gem, surrounded by limestone karsts, tropical forests, waterfalls, and mysterious caves. It is perfect site for nature lover, seeking a peaceful retreat from tourist crowds. You also have many experiences with culture, life of Tay people
DAY 1: Ha Noi – Thai Nguyen – Ba Be Lake
Meals: lunch, dinner/ Accommodation: homestay in Ba Be
7.30 AM. Our tour guide and private car pick up you at your hotel and departure to Ba Be lake. It take 4,5 hours from Ha Noi to Ba Be lake. You can see rice fields, tea plantations, bamboo groves scattered along the river valleys, ethnic villages with stilt houses.
– Have lunch in a local restaurant.
– We arrive Pac Ngoi village and check in homestay.
– Take a motor boat in Ba Be lake and Nang river, you admire stunning view of emerald waters surrounded by pristine forests, ethnic minority villages—offers a peaceful experience in nature .
– Visit Puong cave where you can admire the stalactites and stalagmites which are a result of the erosion of the river on the karst .
– Trek to visit Dau Dang waterfall.
– Swimming in emerald water for refreshing on the way back.
– Enjoy special dinner with friendly host to get to know more about Tay people.
Note: Homestay is still house of Tay people, you sleep on 2nd floor in private room with single soft mattress, blanket, pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at international standard and a few steps from your room
DAY 2: BA BE – HA NOI
Meals: breakfast, lunch/ Accommodation: not included
Get up early to breath fresh air from mountain, lake. Have breakfast and check out homestay.
- Ride a bike from Pac Ngoi village to Hua Ma cave and enjoy stunning scenery of lush forest, river, rice fields surrounded by towering limestomes. Stop to meet Tay people and learn about their dailylife, customs, cultures
- Walk up to see Hua ma Cave which features thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
- Ride bicycle back to homestay for relaxing or a stroll around the hamlet
- Check out and have lunch in homestay.
- Visit Tea plantation in Thai Nguyen on the way back to Ha Noi.
- Drop off you in your hotel. Tour end
